Executive, Technology Investment & Ecosystem Development

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially‑minded executive to lead investment attraction and ecosystem development across high‑growth technology and digital sectors in Doha. The role focuses on fostering innovation, attracting leading organisations, and building a thriving ecosystem that spans AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data centres, digital platforms, emerging technologies and tech‑enabled services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead efforts to attract local and international investment in priority technology sectors.
• Identify, engage and cultivate relationships with technology companies, investors, venture capital firms and strategic partners.
• Develop compelling value propositions and growth opportunities for prospective investors.
• Support investment negotiations and facilitate market entry and expansion initiatives.
• Design and execute strategies that strengthen the technology and digital ecosystem.
• Foster collaboration among industry, government, startups, academia, research institutions and investors.
• Identify ecosystem gaps and create initiatives to enhance sector competitiveness and innovation.
• Serve as relationship manager for senior executives, investors and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation at industry forums, conferences, investment missions and strategic engagements.
• Drive measurable outcomes related to investment attraction, ecosystem growth and sector development, establishing KPIs and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology investment attraction and ecosystem development.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to create and communicate value propositions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain networks across local and international technology communities.
• Results‑oriented with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
