Finance Business Partner – Qatar

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will be the sole finance lead for BAE Systems' Qatar programme, reporting directly to the Vice President Qatar and contributing to the Senior Leadership Team. This role provides financial insight, supports strategic decisions and ensures alignment between local operations and global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely financial analysis and insight to influence senior leadership decisions, driving margin expansion, cash conversion and value creation.
• Prepare robust financial reporting for the Qatar business to UK/I&Air/Group Finance and external bodies.
• Oversee all in‑country financial governance, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Collaborate with UK‑based entity teams, external auditors, tax authorities and Group finance to maintain financial integrity.
• Establish, maintain and continuously improve financial controls within the Qatar programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience working across international markets and navigating diverse cultural and business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted business partner to senior executives.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in leading financial control frameworks in complex, high‑value programmes.
