Financial Advisor

About the role

The Group Securities is looking for a Financial Advisor to deliver investment advice across portfolio management, market‑making strategies, and offering/listing decisions. The role combines deep financial analysis with data‑driven recommendations to grow client and Group assets on a risk‑adjusted basis while complying with Qatar Financial Markets Authority regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client investment plans, including profiling objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs.
• Monitor portfolio performance, recommend rebalancing, review fees, and produce periodic client reports.
• Conduct fundamental analysis of financial statements, sectors, and cash flows; develop DCF and multiples‑based valuation models.
• Source and assess investment opportunities, prepare investment memoranda, and track positions post‑execution.
• Measure risk‑adjusted performance and produce attribution analysis across allocation, security selection, timing, and fees.
• Advise on market‑making strategies, pricing quality, liquidity, and coordinate with Trading and Compliance.
• Support offering and listing mandates, including timing advice, pre‑offering improvements, governance readiness, and regulatory documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience in finance, investment analysis, or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of QFMA regulations and internal compliance policies.
• Ability to produce rigorous, data‑driven recommendations and clear client communications.
