Finished Carpenter - Interior Fit-Out

About the role

Basic Elements Solutions delivers integrated interior solutions for commercial, hospitality, residential and corporate projects, covering interior fit-outs, architectural joinery and millwork and solid-surface solutions. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Finished Carpenter in Qatar to install, assemble and fit custom woodwork, millwork and cabinetry for commercial, hospitality and residential interiors.

Key responsibilities

• Install, assemble and fit custom woodwork, millwork and cabinetry to specification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measure and cut materials, and perform precise joinery.
• Ensure high-quality finishes on doors, panels, furniture and decorative elements.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and site teams to meet specifications, timelines and safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, make on-site adjustments and repairs, and keep the work area clean and organised.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Finished Carpenter or similar role in interior fit-out, joinery or millwork.
• Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and collaborate with diverse project teams.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing and working in varied on-site conditions.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in carpentry or joinery; apprenticeship experience is an advantage.
• Experience on international or large-scale projects and familiarity with quality standards common in Qatar and the GCC is beneficial.

Required skills

• Strong carpentry and joinery skills: measuring, cutting, fitting and finishing wood and related materials.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and project specifications.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery used in millwork and interior fit-out.
• Knowledge of materials, hardware and finishing techniques for high-end interiors.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and site safety regulations.
