Fire Engineer & Fire Alarm Sales Manager

About the role

The Fire Engineer & Fire Alarm Sales Manager will lead both the technical and commercial activities of the Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting division in Qatar. This hybrid role blends fire protection engineering expertise with business development, sales, and client relationship management to drive revenue and secure new projects.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and secure contracts for fire alarm, fire fighting, AMC, and service agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, facility managers, and government entities.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and BOQs.
• Identify project opportunities and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to award.
• Design, review, and support fire alarm and fire fighting systems in line with QCDD and NFPA standards.
• Coordinate authority approvals, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and client consultations.
• Support project execution teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of experience in fire alarm, fire fighting, fire protection systems, and technical sales.
• UPDA/MMUP Electrical Engineering Classification (Grade A, B, or C) and QCDD Fire Alarm Engineer Certification.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, Qatar Civil Defence requirements, and local authority approval procedures.
• Proven track record in business development, project acquisition, tendering, and revenue generation.
• Extensive network with consultants, contractors, developers, and facility management companies in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar driving licence.
