Food & Beverage Server

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants, is looking for a Food & Beverage Server in Dukhan. The server delivers exceptional dining experiences through personalized, attentive and professional service, upholding the standards of cleanliness, hospitality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver personalized service in line with the brand's standards
• Present menus, explain offerings and recommend dishes and drinks based on guest preferences
• Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages according to service sequences and presentation standards
• Anticipate guest needs, handle concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
• Prepare restaurant sections and service stations, set tables and keep dining areas clean and organized
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and other departments, monitor table service and support opening and closing duties
• Maintain knowledge of menus, ingredients, dietary requirements and allergens, and use suggestive selling and upselling
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures, and manage allergens and dietary restrictions
• Process orders and payments through the POS system, present bills correctly and report billing discrepancies
• Work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays, and take part in briefings, meetings and training

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality qualifications are an advantage
• Previous experience as an F&B server, waiter or waitress, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or upscale restaurant
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
