Fraud Monitoring Analyst

About the role

The Fraud Monitoring Analyst joins the Bank’s 24/7 Fraud Operations team in Doha. Working on a continuous basis, the analyst monitors, investigates and escalates suspicious transactions and fraud alerts to protect the institution and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fraud alerts generated by the system and other channels 24/7, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Review, triage and prioritize alerts according to risk‑based thresholds and escalation matrices.
• Contact customers when required, using approved scripts to verify transactions and gather information.
• Escalate high‑risk, confirmed or complex cases promptly to senior analysts or permanent staff.
• Document all actions, findings and case details in the fraud case management system and registers.
• Handle external fraud reports from other financial institutions and payment service providers, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with service level agreements.
• Support inter‑bank fraud coordination and adhere to internal controls, data protection and information security standards.

Required profile

• Professional experience in fraud monitoring, transaction monitoring or financial crime investigations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts covering nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data privacy.

Required skills

• Experience with EFMS (Electronic Fraud Management System).
• Proficiency in using fraud case management systems.
