About the role
The Front Desk Agent provides a warm and welcoming experience for guests, handling check‑in and check‑out efficiently while responding to inquiries. The role ensures smooth operations, accurate guest records, and collaboration with other departments to meet guest expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, prompt service to achieve high customer satisfaction from arrival to departure.
- Greet guests personally, escort them to rooms, and provide hotel familiarisation.
- Handle reservations, maintain accurate guest records, and process incidental charges using the Front Office system.
- Stay informed about hotel information, local services, promotions, events, and attractions to answer guest queries.
- Monitor daily rate and occupancy levels for informed decision‑making.
- Uphold hotel policies, environmental, health, and safety standards, and protect guest privacy.
