General Accountant – Cash Collection & Accounts Payable

About the role

We are looking for a General Accountant to manage cash collections, petty‑cash administration and accounts payable for our workshop and spare‑parts operations. The role supports month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensures accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, record and reconcile customer payments (cash, cheques, bank transfers, POS).
• Prepare and send monthly customer statements and respond to balance inquiries.
• Manage workshop float and petty‑cash funds, verify claims and record reimbursements.
• Verify, record and post supplier invoices in the Adler system, ensuring proper approval and allocation of logistics costs.
• Coordinate invoicing and cost allocation with workshop and spare‑parts teams.
• Perform customer, workshop float and petty‑cash reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, inventory and receivables aging, and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in general accounting, cash handling and accounts payable.
• Familiarity with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with internal controls.
• Strong attention to detail for reconciliations and documentation.
