General Manager – Architecture & Design Consultancy

About the role

The General Manager will report directly to the Board of Directors and assume full responsibility for business performance, strategic direction, and long‑term growth of a leading architecture and design consultancy operating across Qatar, the GCC and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s long‑term business strategy and expansion roadmap.
• Lead market‑entry initiatives, assess emerging opportunities and forge strategic partnerships.
• Oversee revenue generation, profitability, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Monitor project profitability, resource utilization and implement efficiency improvements.
• Provide leadership to executive management, drive talent development and organizational transformation.
• Represent the firm at executive meetings, industry forums and stakeholder engagements.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in architecture, engineering, urban planning or multidisciplinary consulting.
• Proven track record of delivering financial performance and expanding market share.
• Experience managing large‑scale development portfolios and complex organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage commercial risk.
