Government Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Government Relations Specialist to support our Human Resources team at our Doha location. The role combines administrative HR functions with liaison duties, ensuring smooth interaction between the company, employees, and governmental bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organize employee personnel files, interview documents, and I‑9 forms.
• Create, type, and distribute office correspondence and manage inbound and outbound mail.
• Assist walk‑in candidates with application procedures and keep the application area clean and accessible.
• Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding HR policies, programs, and guidelines.
• Order and track HR office supplies, forms, and equipment.
• Handle phone calls, record messages, and greet guests in a professional manner.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related HR or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in using standard office computer applications.
