GRP Technician – Fiberglass & Piping Specialist

About the role

The GRP Technician is responsible for preparing and applying fiberglass (GRP) materials in line with production specifications while adhering to strict safety procedures. This role supports oil and gas operations by handling piping materials, conducting site measurements, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and apply GRP/fiberglass components according to detailed production specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and permit‑to‑work (PTW) requirements on site.
• Handle a variety of piping materials commonly used in oil and gas projects.
• Perform site measurements and mark mechanical and electrical requirements accurately.
• Read, interpret, and verify technical drawings, documents, and permits.

Required profile

• ITI Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience with GRP and fiberglass applications.
• Strong knowledge of GRP materials and oil‑and‑gas piping systems.
• Familiarity with site measurement techniques and PTW processes.
• Ability to work within precise limits and maintain high accuracy.
