Head Baker – Luxury Lifestyle Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Head Baker to lead all bakery operations at a prominent luxury lifestyle hotel in Doha. This hands‑on leadership role blends deep artisan baking expertise with the ability to inspire and manage a high‑performing production team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bakery production ensuring quality, consistency and presentation.
• Develop and refine bread, viennoiserie and other baked‑goods in line with the hotel’s culinary direction.
• Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef on menu innovation and seasonal programmes.
• Train, supervise and mentor junior bakers and kitchen support staff.
• Manage inventory, raw‑material procurement and daily production planning.
• Maintain full compliance with food‑safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Maintain bakery equipment and ensure smooth operations across all service periods.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker in a luxury hotel, fine‑dining restaurant or premium bakery.
• Expert knowledge of artisan bread‑making, sourdough, laminated doughs and advanced baking techniques.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Creative product development mindset with an uncompromising commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑volume luxury kitchen.
• Culinary or baking qualification preferred.
