Head of Civil/Structural Engineering

About the role

The Head of Civil/Structural Engineering will lead the engineering input for the design, fabrication, construction, testing, installation and commissioning of offshore facilities for the NFA Sustainability Project. The role ensures delivery on schedule, within budget and in line with approved specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering activities across all project phases, from FEED to EPIC and final commissioning.
• Coordinate design, fabrication, construction, testing and installation teams to meet project timelines, cost targets and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Shell DEPs, international design codes and project‑specific specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of civil/structural engineering design experience in the oil & gas sector.
• At least 10 years on offshore oil & gas processing projects and 7 years as Lead Discipline Engineer on major projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex offshore projects.
