Head of Network Infrastructure Operations

About the role

The Head of Network Infrastructure Operations defines and executes the organization’s network strategy while ensuring operational excellence across all network services. This senior leader drives modernization, automation, security compliance, and vendor management to deliver highly available, scalable, and secure network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC), monitor services, and manage incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and execute a long‑term infrastructure roadmap covering LAN, WAN, data‑center and cloud architectures, including SD‑WAN, WiFi 6E and SASE adoption.
• Drive network automation using CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform and Python to reduce manual effort.
• Partner with Information Security to implement Zero Trust networking, firewall policies and ensure ISO 27001 / SOC 2 compliance.
• Own CAPEX and OPEX budgets, negotiate with ISPs and hardware vendors, and manage vendor performance.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of network engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale, multi‑vendor environments and leading high‑pressure engineering teams.
• Strong business acumen to align network initiatives with organizational objectives.
