Head of Security Systems

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Head of Security Systems in Doha. The role manages the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance across all security systems, leads subject-matter experts and ensures certified technical coverage and competency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance performance for all security systems.
• Lead subject-matter experts and ensure appropriate certified technical coverage and competency.
• Review and approve technical method statements, SOPs and preventive-maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical input to the Change Advisory Board for system changes.
• Monitor discipline performance, lead root-cause analysis and report problem management findings to the Service Delivery Manager.
• Ensure high system availability, SLA compliance, preventive-maintenance completion and a reduction in repeat incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, IT or a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with relevant security systems in a large enterprise or airport environment.
• Relevant certifications in security-system technologies, particularly Milestone VMS and physical-security systems.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Strong OEM/vendor management and technical escalation experience.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, problem-solving and analytical skills.
