HSE Manager

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an HSE Manager in Doha, within its airline and aviation business. The role manages the project's HSE plan and safety procedures, ensures compliance with client policies and promotes a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the contract HSE plan and safety management procedures, ensuring compliance with client HSE policies and procedures.
• Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Manage the permit-to-work system.
• Oversee HSE inductions, toolbox talks and employee competency records.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly HSE performance reports.
• Support environmental compliance and energy-saving initiatives.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in HSE, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE management.
• Experience in aviation, construction or critical infrastructure preferred.
• Knowledge of Qatar HSE regulations and airport safety requirements.
• Ability to meet airport security and client compliance requirements.

Required skills

• NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification.
• Strong experience in risk assessment, investigations and HSE reporting.
• Strong leadership and safety-culture development skills.
