Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Elsewedy Electric is seeking a proactive Human Resources Specialist to support its HR operations in Qatar. You will act as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, maintain accurate records, and assist the HR Business Partner in driving performance and development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to basic employee inquiries and provide clear information on HR policies.
• Maintain and update employee records and reporting structures under HR leadership.
• Coordinate interview schedules and candidate appointments.
• Distribute, collect, scan, file, and archive performance appraisal documents.
• Enter employee feedback and survey responses into HR systems with confidentiality.
• Compile and validate data for HR reporting.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
• Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning programs.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar labour law and internal policies.
• Monitor employee engagement and support culture‑enhancing initiatives.
• Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience across various HR functions.
• HR diploma or relevant professional certification preferred.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office suite.
• Hands‑on experience with HRIS and ERP systems.
