Humanities Teacher – International School in Qatar

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to join a leading British international school in Qatar starting September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging History, Geography and related humanities lessons to secondary students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional teaching at Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
• Inspire students through creative, challenging and thought‑provoking learning experiences.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment and differentiate learning to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and contribute to extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent) with QTS or equivalent.
• Degree in Humanities, History, Geography or a closely related subject.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring students and a collaborative mindset.
