Information Technology Auditor

About the role

The IT Auditor supports Mowasalat’s vision of delivering agile, safe, and sustainable transport solutions by providing independent assurance on IT risk management, governance, and control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit assignments, including risk assessments, audit procedures, and reporting.
• Evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructure for regulatory compliance and effectiveness of controls.
• Review IT governance frameworks and assess compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Support development and maintenance of IT risk management plans and monitor mitigation controls.
• Prepare and present audit reports, track follow‑up actions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT auditing, IT risk management, or a related discipline.
• Preferred experience in the transportation sector or a comparable organization.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA are advantageous.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Data‑analytics proficiency, preferably using ACL Analytics or similar scripting tools.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
• Experience auditing IT General Controls, Application Controls, and IT frameworks.
• Strong audit report writing and documentation abilities.
