Integrated Management System (IMS) Auditor

About the role

The Integrated Management System (IMS) Auditor is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting internal audits of the company’s IMS to ensure compliance with ISO standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role supports continuous improvement across quality, health & safety, environmental, and operational management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and conduct internal audits in line with the approved audit program.
• Perform process‑based audits across departments, projects and support functions.
• Prepare audit checklists, audit reports and non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and track closure of observations.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and support external certification audits.
• Maintain audit records, analyse findings, and produce periodic audit summaries for management.
• Assist departments in identifying inefficiencies, participate in root‑cause analysis and promote IMS awareness.
• Provide guidance and training on IMS requirements and audit outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001; certifications for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in quality assurance, IMS or auditing, preferably within EPC, construction, infrastructure, oil & gas or industrial projects.
• Proven experience conducting internal and external management‑system audits and familiarity with certification‑body requirements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
• Audit planning, reporting and risk‑based thinking.
• Process‑based auditing and document‑control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
