IT Manager – Hotel Technology

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology function at voco® Doha West Bay Suites. The role will ensure that all IT systems, hardware and software align with the hotel’s standards and support seamless guest and staff experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage information technology systems, hardware and software applications in line with hotel IT standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain a disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity.
• Conduct routine risk management and audit processes to guarantee compliance.
• Create troubleshooting guides and train key staff on IT systems and applications.
• Maintain operating systems, licences, service agreements and monitor vendor SLA performance.
• Monitor file server performance, backups and overall system health.
• Oversee firewall security, applying updates as required.
• Update IT policies and procedures to reflect system enhancements.
• Maintain the user database, manage accounts and ensure accurate personnel changes.
• Develop and execute IT business process strategies for future state requirements.
• Coordinate with external providers to ensure best‑practice service delivery.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and prepare regular IT management reports.
• Respond to guest‑related IT enquiries and maintain the hardware asset register.
