IT Project Manager – Banking & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with deep exposure to the Banking & Financial Services sector. The successful candidate will lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to scope.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full IT project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
• Oversee several banking technology initiatives simultaneously.
• Coordinate internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Track project scope, risks, timelines, and dependencies.
• Prepare status, closure, and governance documentation for senior management.
• Lead vendor engagements and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
• Conduct project review meetings and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with organizational security and audit standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of IT Project Management experience.
• Strong background in banking technology projects.
• Proven experience managing cross‑functional IT teams.
• Exposure to enterprise‑level IT implementations.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
• PMP certification preferred.
