Lead Product Manager – Data & AI (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the end‑to‑end delivery of data and AI products for either Retail or Wholesale Banking within a major GCC bank undergoing a digital transformation. The role bridges commercial stakeholders and the bank’s Data & AI delivery teams, turning strategic priorities into measurable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain product vision and multi‑quarter roadmap for the assigned banking domain.
• Act as the primary interface between business lines and the Data & AI function, managing stakeholder expectations and trade‑offs.
• Own the product backlog across data engineering, data science, ML engineering and BI squads; write epics, stories and acceptance criteria.
• Run sprint ceremonies, ensure delivery quality, and coordinate cross‑team dependencies, capacity planning and release sequencing.
• Define, track and report KPIs, ROI and compliance with data governance, privacy and security standards.

Required profile

• Strong grounding in banking operations (retail, corporate or digital channels).
• 10+ years of product, programme or data & AI delivery experience, preferably in financial services.
• Proven ability to translate commercial problems into data and AI product requirements and to define roadmaps, success metrics and ROI cases.
• Credible stakeholder management at senior business and technology levels.
• Experience leading cross‑functional squads in Agile or hybrid models.
