Logistics Expediting Assistant (Freight)

About the role

The Expediting Assistant (Freight) will join the Company logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials for marine operations. Working in a fast‑paced office environment, you will coordinate shipments, track deliveries and support cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, 4PL logistics providers and vessel agents to plan and schedule shipments.
• Maintain relationships with 4PL service providers and negotiate delivery terms.
• Track shipments from suppliers to warehouses, consolidation points and destination vessels, optimizing routes and costs.
• Review and process 4PL invoices in SAP LE, ensuring all supporting documents are received.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies promptly and collaborate with teams to prevent recurrence.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external inquiries regarding shipment status.
• Prepare shipping documents, maintain accurate logistics records and generate performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or related operations.
• Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends to meet shipment deadlines.

Required skills

• SAP LE module for invoice processing.
