Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our property in Doha. You will patrol the premises, assist guests, and ensure the safety and security of all occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, call for external assistance when needed, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Prepare incident reports, loss‑prevention shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documents.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Support guests, including individuals with disabilities, and uphold company service standards.
• Comply with all safety training, uniform and appearance requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided (75 lb with assistance).
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies (run, jog, etc.).
• Clear, professional communication in English.
• Willingness to follow company policies, report unsafe conditions and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring.
• Operation of alarm and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• First aid and CPR certification.
