Maintenance Supervisor – Residential

About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor for residential facilities, you will oversee all appliance maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with Qatar Airways standards. You will lead a team to keep equipment operating safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of assigned facilities, prepare reports, diagnose issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Track and follow up on all pending appliance maintenance requests, updating the system with on‑site feedback.
• Inspect completed maintenance work, verify scope compliance and sign off completion certificates.
• Plan and manage the Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) schedule.
• Respond to emergency situations and major issues 24/7.
• Assign and evaluate work performed by contracted staff.
• Review service requests, prioritize tasks, and communicate timelines to customers.
• Plan labour and material requirements for scheduled and unscheduled jobs.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, materials, tools and equipment usage.
• Perform additional department duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Background in hotel, hospitality or facilities management.
• Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Maintenance inspection and reporting.
• Appliance repair and preventive maintenance.
