Manager – IT Security International (Qatarization)

About the role

The Manager – IT Security International (Qatarization) will support the Senior Vice President of IT Security International in overseeing and governing information security across QNB Group subsidiaries and international branches. Based in Doha, the role ensures consistent application of the Group’s security policies, standards and practices throughout the bank’s diverse business units.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the QNB Group Information Security Framework, including policies, procedures and standards.
• Provide guidance and oversight to subsidiary IT security teams on risk assessments and security controls.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT security functions and business areas such as Corporate Banking, Treasury, Retail, Wealth Management and support functions.
• Coordinate with Audit, Legal, Compliance, Group Strategy and Financial Control to ensure alignment with security requirements.
• Promote consistent methodology and execution of security initiatives across all international units.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in information security or related fields.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial services environments.
• Excellent analytical and governance skills, with ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

• Broad knowledge of Information Security principles and practices
