Manager – Subsidiary Operational Risk (Qatarization)

About the role

The Manager of Subsidiary Operational Risk will support the VP of Subsidiaries Operational Risk in overseeing the implementation of QNB Group’s Operational Risk Framework across all subsidiaries. The role focuses on ensuring consistent risk methodology, enhancing oversight, and promoting a strong control culture within the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the new QNB Group Operational Risk Framework, including policies, procedures, and standards.
• Analyze and report operational risk data to improve management oversight.
• Disseminate risk committee directives to subsidiary units and ensure understanding.
• Identify and communicate the top 10 material operational risks to executive committees and the board.
• Promote risk awareness and a strong control culture across the business.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and best practices for subsidiary operational risk.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate risk data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with senior management and risk committees.
• Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across multiple subsidiaries.
