Marketing & Communication Manager

About the role

The Marketing & Communication Manager will lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing strategies for Banana Island Resort Doha, enhancing brand positioning, driving awareness, and supporting revenue and occupancy goals. This role oversees digital marketing, social media, campaigns, partnerships, content, public relations, and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy and action plan in line with business objectives.
• Identify market trends, customer insights, and opportunities to increase brand awareness and revenue.
• Manage the marketing calendar, campaigns, promotions, and activations.
• Lead digital marketing across social media, search, email, website and other channels, creating engaging content that showcases the resort’s offerings.
• Oversee social media calendars, influencer collaborations, and community engagement.
• Monitor digital performance, analyze ROI, and optimise campaigns.
• Ensure consistent brand implementation across all touchpoints and marketing materials.
• Coordinate public relations activities, media relations, press releases and media visits.
• Plan and execute seasonal, tactical and promotional campaigns to drive bookings.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with travel companies, lifestyle brands, corporate organisations and influencers.
• Support the planning and promotion of resort events, special occasions and entertainment programmes.
