Mason - Hotel Maintenance

About the role

An Accor hotel is looking for a Mason to carry out masonry and civil maintenance work on the property. The role covers plastering, block work, tile fixing, grouting, concrete repairs and finishing works, as well as responding to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform masonry works including plastering, block work, tile fixing, grouting, concrete repairs and finishing works.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of walls, floors, ceilings, walkways and other building structures.
• Repair cracks, damaged tiles, marble, cement finishes and other civil-related defects throughout the hotel.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities routinely to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete all masonry work to a high standard and on time.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas safely and cleanly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

Required profile

• Experience as a Mason, preferably in a hotel, commercial building or facility management environment.
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tile installation, plastering, concrete repairs and finishing works.
• Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry or other civil maintenance trades is an advantage.
• Experience in preventive maintenance within hotel facilities.
• Good teamwork and communication skills in English.
