About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Doha to supervise mechanical and piping construction activities, review technical documents, monitor materials and ensure work quality at site. The role sits in the oil & gas sector.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical and piping construction activities at site.
- Ensure construction documents, materials and equipment are available when required.
- Review datasheets, specifications, technical bid evaluations and vendor documents.
- Monitor mechanical and piping installation works for compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Support equipment sizing, selection, hydraulic calculations and thermal calculations.
- Prepare reports on progress, materials, manpower and equipment usage.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in large construction works within oil & gas / petrochemical projects.
- ASME, API or PMP certification is an added advantage.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping installation.
- Equipment sizing, datasheets, specifications and vendor documentation.
