Mechanical Supervisor – Offshore

About the role

ISS International SpA is seeking senior Mechanical Supervisors for an offshore oil & gas compression platform project in Qatar. The role involves overseeing mechanical activities during execution and commissioning phases on offshore compression platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support mechanical engineering activities and equipment checks on offshore platforms.
• Perform technical verification, preparation, execution follow‑up and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate offshore works in line with project procedures, safety requirements and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with commissioning engineers and site teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in offshore oil & gas projects, particularly with rotating equipment, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and gas turbine generators.
• Senior‑level professional with a solid offshore mechanical background.
• Valid BOSIET or T‑BOSIET certification is a strong advantage.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract of 6 months, extendable.
• 12‑hour workdays, 7 days a week.
• Rotation schedule: 56 days on‑site, 28 days off‑site (including travel days).
