Memberships Specialist

About the role

The Memberships Specialist supports the Memberships department by designing and delivering personalized experiences for members, coordinating exclusive events, and driving engagement and retention among affluent supporters. This role works closely with museum leadership, external partners, and communications teams to ensure high‑quality service and strategic growth of the membership base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, personalized relationships with members, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Design and implement customized membership programs, benefits, and exclusive experiences such as private tours and bespoke events.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute exclusive events, handling logistics, vendor selection, invitations, and venue setup.
• Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to create tailored stewardship plans and promotional materials.
• Provide input for digital platforms used in the membership program, including CRM, website, and membership app.
• Maintain accurate records of member interactions, event attendance, and program impact in the CRM system and analyse data for continuous improvement.

• Data‑driven mindset with experience evaluating program impact.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
