About the role
The MEP Draftsman will develop detailed mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings for power plants, data‑center cooling systems and smart‑grid facilities in Doha.
Key responsibilities
- Create mechanical (HVAC, process cooling) and electrical (high/low voltage, cable trays) drawings.
- Produce plumbing layouts for fire protection and water supply.
- Draft single‑line diagrams, wiring schematics and equipment layout plans for substations and switchyards.
- Generate isometric drawings for process piping and ductwork routing.
- Perform spatial coordination to ensure clearances for operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineers to route underground and above‑ground utility networks without interfering with structural elements.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or MEP Drafting.
- 3–5 years of experience in MEP design for power plants, oil & gas, or mission‑critical digital facilities.
Required skills
- AutoCAD (2D/3D) – high proficiency.
- AutoCAD MEP.
- Revit MEP.
- Navisworks (basic clash detection).
