About the role
We are seeking a National Sales Business Development Manager to drive growth and retain strategic customer accounts for Kuehne+Nagel in Qatar. The role combines long‑term account development with proactive acquisition of new customers, supporting our logistics solutions across sea, air and road.
Key responsibilities
- Own and develop key national accounts, acting as the primary liaison between customers and Kuehne+Nagel.
- Plan and execute account strategies, define value propositions and shape tender approaches together with business units.
- Lead structured customer reviews to align on strategy, priorities and continuous improvement.
- Monitor monthly performance (volume, pipeline, overdue) and trigger corrective actions when needed.
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities, maintaining a strong pipeline and high closing ratios.
- Negotiate rates with customers in coordination with relevant business units and ensure proper documentation.
- Oversee smooth onboarding of new business and handover to operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably within the Qatar market.
- Proven strategic account management success with a track record of growing and retaining key customers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation abilities; fluency in English and Arabic.
- Solid understanding of sea, air and road logistics, including customs processes.
- Proactive mindset with strong analytical capabilities and continuous‑improvement orientation.

- Advanced Excel proficiency.
