NICU Clinical Nurse – Join a Leading Neonatal Team

About the role

Sidra Medicine is seeking an experienced NICU Clinical Nurse to join its neonatal intensive care unit. The role involves delivering safe, evidence‑based direct care to critically ill newborns and supporting their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized care plans.
• Supervise, orient and train junior staff, students and families, ensuring adherence to Sidra Standards of Practice.
• Document care accurately and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a valid nursing license from the country of origin.
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience in a reputable healthcare institution.
• Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Oxygen therapy delivery (nasal cannula, low‑flow and high‑flow systems).
• Non‑invasive respiratory support (CPAP, BiPAP) and invasive ventilation including HFOV.
• Neonatal nutrition management (oral, enteral, parenteral).
• Capillary blood sampling and IV medication/fluid administration.
• Cardiorespiratory monitoring interpretation.
• Thermoregulation, phototherapy and arterial/central line management.
• Nitric oxide administration, chest drain assessment and tracheostomy care.
