Nursery Manager – Full‑Time

About the role

Future Tense is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of its early childhood centre in Doha. The role combines operational oversight, staff leadership and parent engagement to ensure a safe, inspiring environment for children.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily running and non‑academic functions of the nursery.
• Manage staff, ensuring a caring environment and compliance with safety standards.
• Act as primary liaison with parents, consultants, suppliers and senior management.
• Lead marketing, admissions, facilities management, HR, recruitment and scheduling.
• Handle all financial matters including admissions fees, payroll, budgeting and fiscal reporting.
• Prepare regular operational reports for the management team.
• Track admissions targets and maintain accurate records of children, families and staff.
• Maintain statistical and personal records in the nursery management system.

Required profile

• Strong business, finance and organisational abilities with proven IT proficiency.
• Passionate about early‑years programmes and able to communicate them effectively to parents.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading staff.
• Capability to create and manage budgets and financial processes.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent record‑keeping and reporting skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and comfortable using technology and social media.
