Offshore Installation Methods Draftsman/Designer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Methods Draftsman/Designer to support shallow‑water projects in Doha. The role focuses on creating detailed engineering drawings that enable safe and efficient offshore vessel mooring, pipeline installation, and structural placement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop anchor pattern drawings for offshore vessel mooring in shallow water.
• Produce method drawings for pipeline transportation, routing, seabed interaction and support systems.
• Create installation layouts for jackets, decks, bridges and related structures.
• Generate transportation and seafastening plans for vessels, cargo barges and load‑out operations.
• Design installation sequences and technical drawings for piles, risers, J‑tubes, sleepers and mattresses.
• Provide drafting support for subsea facilities such as pipelines, flexible flowlines, umbilicals and subsea structures.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with project quality standards and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in offshore installation drafting, preferably on shallow‑water projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore construction, marine operations and installation procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering inputs and develop accurate drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MicroStation (2D/3D) drafting software.
