Operator Assistant – Slickline (Entry Level)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to join its slickline service team in Ras Laffan, Qatar. As an Operator Assistant you will work under close supervision, supporting all phases of slickline operations at well sites while gaining hands‑on experience in the energy industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor with pre‑job equipment preparation, including assembly, testing and mobilization.
• Support the execution of slickline services on‑site, following written and verbal instructions.
• Participate in post‑job demobilization, clean‑up and repair of service equipment and products.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a willingness to learn Halliburton HSE policies and industry terminology.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely as part of a team and obtain a driving licence as required.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic computer literacy.
