Oracle Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Hyperion Techno‑Functional Consultant to join our ICT division in Doha, Qatar. The consultant will own the full lifecycle of the Oracle Hyperion EPM environment, ensuring stability, security and continuous improvement for both internal users and external entities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Oracle Hyperion components such as Essbase, Planning Server, FDQM, HFM and FDMEE across Production, Test, DR and Development instances.
• Perform patch management, version control, security configuration and user access provisioning.
• Execute environment operations including upgrades, backup & recovery, capacity planning, code deployments and fail‑over testing.
• Monitor performance, tune the Hyperion environment and plan new functional and technical deployments.
• Coordinate data loads from Oracle EBS using FDMEE and maintain financial data within the EPM suite.
• Support budgeting, planning and month‑end closing processes and generate standard financial reports.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery infrastructure, test backups and ensure business continuity.
• Provide expert support for Smart View, Essbase Excel Add‑in and Reporting Studio to end users and external entity communities.
• Document system administration procedures, archiving policies and ensure compliance with IT governance and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Oracle Hyperion Techno‑Functional Consultant.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, budgeting and planning processes.
• Hands‑on experience managing production, test and disaster‑recovery Hyperion environments.
• Ability to bridge technical infrastructure management with functional financial reporting needs.
