Organizational Development & Workforce Specialist

About the role

The Organizational Development & Workforce Specialist will lead OD initiatives, update structures, job descriptions and competency frameworks, and ensure the right manpower is in place to support Qatar Fabrication Company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor organizational development projects across all divisions.
• Advise senior management on change management and workforce alignment based on industry benchmarks.
• Develop, review and maintain accurate job descriptions using interviews, questionnaires and job analysis.
• Define and update behavioral and technical competency matrices and link them to performance management.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to integrate competencies into training and appraisal systems.
• Conduct workforce planning, analyse manpower needs and produce budgets in partnership with Finance.
• Provide guidance to departments on staffing requirements, plan adjustments and approval processes.

Required profile

• Solid experience in organizational development, job design and competency framework creation.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to benchmark against peer oil‑and‑gas shipping companies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multiple functions.
• Knowledge of manpower budgeting and HR policy compliance.
