Outlet Supervisor (Short Term)

About the role

Kempinski is hiring an Outlet Supervisor for a short-term, seasonal, full-time position in its food and beverage outlet in Doha. The supervisor oversees daily restaurant operations, drives sales, maximizes guest satisfaction and delivers courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service in line with Kempinski's standards and values. The role reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Head Waiter/Waitress, Waiter/Waitress and Host/Hostess, delegating tasks appropriately
• Report to duty on time, wearing the correct uniform, clean and well pressed, with polished shoes and a nametag, in line with the hotel dress code and grooming standards
• Provide courteous, professional and efficient service and perform all duties required at the outlet
• Know all hotel services and products, and all food and beverage items of the assigned department, and upsell them while offering alternatives
• Monitor operating supplies and equipment, reduce spoilage and wastage, and keep the workplace clean and organized
• Carry out opening and closing procedures for the outlet
• Handle guest enquiries courteously, report guest complaints and feedback to supervisors and ensure follow-up with guests
• Operate the existing POS system according to the assigned training level
• Adhere strictly to hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety, including HACCP
