Painting Foreman - Offshore Coatings

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Painting Foreman in Doha within its oil and gas business. The foreman leads painting and coating crews on offshore projects, supervising surface preparation and coating work while keeping quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead painting and coating crews and ensure safe, efficient execution of surface preparation and coating activities.
• Organize daily tasks, allocate manpower and keep work on schedule.
• Monitor coating application, thickness and curing against project specifications and industry standards.
• Oversee blasting, cleaning and priming before coating.
• Maintain records of paint usage, inspection reports and quality assurance documentation.
• Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE use and permit-to-work systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Industrial Coatings or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of offshore painting/coating supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of protective coatings, surface preparation and offshore corrosion control.
• Familiarity with ASTM, ISO and NOC coating standards.
• Certified Coating Applicator, BOSIET/HUET (OPITO), basic H2S training and EPCIC project HSES induction.
