Passenger Processing & Biometrics Lead

About the role

The Passenger Processing & Biometrics Lead will drive the integration of common‑use passenger processing systems and advanced biometric solutions across airport terminals. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure seamless operation of CUPPS, CUSS, SSBD, eGates and boarding‑gate readers while complying with data‑sovereignty regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of common‑use passenger processing (CUPPS, CUSS, SSBD) integration projects.
• Deliver biometric traveller identity solutions (BTIVS), eGates and boarding‑gate readers.
• Integrate facial‑recognition technology with government identity databases, including VNeID.
• Design and implement a sovereign data vault to meet PDPL 91/2025 biometric data residency requirements.
• Collaborate with airport operators, government agencies and technology partners to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in passenger‑processing or biometrics integration.
• Proven delivery experience with CUPPS/CUSS (IATA RP 1797/1706c) projects.
• Strong background in biometric platform and identity‑database integration.
• Hands‑on experience designing data‑sovereignty‑compliant architectures.
• Exposure to border‑control systems is a plus.
