About the role
The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, control systems, and progress monitoring for complex construction projects in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project progress control systems and detailed planning programmes for all project phases.
- Review supplier programmes, monitor progress, identify slippage and coordinate recovery plans.
- Coordinate close‑out of planning and project controls activities, ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Establish and maintain approved cost and schedule baselines and conduct regular project status reviews.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction, including 7 years on high‑complexity, phased projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Experience using Primavera Enterprise and Primavera Contract Management (or equivalent).
