About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Planning Engineer based in Ras Laffan, Qatar, within its oil and gas business. The role covers project scheduling, resource planning, progress tracking and coordination with site teams, QA/QC and management. Immediate joiners are sought.
Key responsibilities
- Develop project schedules using Primavera/MS Project
- Plan manpower, materials and equipment for mechanical and welding works
- Track project milestones and prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Liaise with site teams, QA/QC and management to align schedules
- Identify delays and risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Maintain planning records, progress charts and compliance reports
Required profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical engineering
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Fertilizers industry
- Experience in shutdown and turnaround planning; 5-7 years of GCC experience is required
Required skills
- Project schedules, baseline schedules, DPR and WPR
- Primavera P6 and MS Project
