Portfolio Manager – Strategic Programs (Qatari National)

About the role

The Portfolio Manager – Strategic Programs will lead large, complex, high‑impact IT programmes for the State of Qatar and its ministries. Reporting to the SBU Chief, the role ensures timely, high‑quality delivery while aligning Malomatia’s solutions with national digital priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior executive leadership to design and implement strategic programmes that reinforce Malomatia’s position as the preferred IT partner for the Qatari government.
• Oversee delivery of strategic projects for ministries, ensuring excellence in quality assurance, sophistication, and execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with senior government stakeholders, respond to feedback, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify new service opportunities with government entities and develop rapid‑engagement delivery plans.
• Lead market and technology research to propose innovative solutions supporting Qatar’s national digital agenda.
• Work with Resource Management to build a dedicated talent pool for state‑related programmes.
• Report progress and value creation to the SBU Chief and/or CEO.
• Coordinate with internal committees and Marketing to strengthen Malomatia’s brand as a trusted digital partner.

Required profile

• Qatari national with extensive experience managing strategic IT programmes for government clients.
• Proven ability to engage senior government stakeholders and translate national IT vision into actionable projects.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills to work with senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
