Process Engineer – Oil & Gas (Qatar)

About the role

ISS International SpA is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join its Qatar team. You will work on offshore wellhead and process platform projects, delivering engineering solutions under the guidance of the Lead Process Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Perform process engineering tasks for assigned projects, including simulations, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing.
• Prepare and review deliverables such as process design basis, P&ID, safe charts, operating manuals, and equipment datasheets.
• Conduct flare load calculations, radiation and dispersion studies, and depressurization analyses.
• Monitor scope changes, raise change notifications, and coordinate with the Project Management Team and other discipline engineers.
• Maintain an organized filing system and assist the Lead Process Engineer with IDC and drawing development.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in oil and gas, preferably on offshore wellhead or process platforms.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering design and related documentation (process descriptions, data sheets, PFD, P&ID).
• Proven ability to work under supervision of a Lead Process Engineer and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Process simulation using Hysys and Unisim.
• Flare load calculation with Aspen Flarenet.
• Heat and material balance calculations.
• Preparation of P&ID, safe charts, and process safeguarding diagrams.
• Equipment and line sizing, fluid list preparation, and flare radiation/dispersion analysis.
