Procurement Coordinator – Power & Energy Sector

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement and GS Coordinator to lead supply chain and administration operations for a large power, energy and water organization in Doha. The role combines procurement planning, vendor management and facilities oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute the annual procurement plan, including sourcing, tendering and direct purchases.
• Issue and monitor purchase orders to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality, quantity and pricing.
• Coordinate vendor selection, contract compliance and performance to meet organizational needs.
• Evaluate and improve procurement tools and processes based on feedback.
• Oversee facilities maintenance, safety, office supplies and support services such as cleaning and security.
• Prepare financial and operational reports while contributing to cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in large power/energy companies, with at least 3 years in managerial roles.
• Hands‑on operational experience within the GCC environment.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives, stakeholders and external partners.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tendering and vendor management.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional English proficiency; Arabic is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
